Know Before You Go: Your Guide to Attending The Barber of Seville.

We’re thrilled you’re joining us for our inaugural mainstage production of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. In anticipation of the first opera in Park City in 20 years, here are some Insider’s Tips and FAQs to peruse before attending the performance.

  • On Sunday, August 24 at 2:00 PM the performance will take place at The Santy Auditorium on the 3rd floor of The Park City Library (1255 Park Ave.). Elevators and ADA ramps are available.

    Doors to the Community Room will open at 12:30 PM for the pre-concert talk beginning at 1:00 PM. Doors to the theater will open at 1:30 PM.

    Concessions and merchandise (think: empanadas, cotton candy, M&Ms, baseball hats and more) will be available between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM and again during intermission.

    Parking at the library is free. We encourage you to use public transportation as well.

    This performance is family-friendly and children are encouraged to enjoy opera for the first time.

    Seating is general admission by section. Those with premium tickets will be pointed towards the front of the theater to sit in designated rows. Ushers will be available to help seat you with your party.

  • Performances on August 29 & 30 will take place at 7:00 PM at Premiere PC, located at 268 Main St.

    This venue is 21+ and all ticket holders will be asked to show a government ID upon entry.

    Doors open at 6:00 PM for a 7:00 PM performance. All tickets include a glass of bubbly. Those with additional pre-purchased cocktails will receive their tickets upon check-in. Those with the VIP Food & Beverage package will receive a hand stamp permitting access to Barber’s Lounge for hor d’oeurves and cocktails before the show.

    A cash bar is available for all patrons prior to the show and during intermission.

    Seating is general admission by section. Ticket holders with Premium tickets will be ushered towards the front-most demarcated rows, with Preferred ticket section and General ticket section behind. Ushers will help seat you with your party.

    Paid parking is available on Main St. and in parking lots/garages on Swede Alley. Public, free buses also service the Old Town Transportation Center near Premiere PC.

  • Yes, beverages will be available for purchase at both venues. For the Santy Auditorium, non-alcoholic options will be available. At Premiere PC, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available.

    Additional concessions and snacks will be available for purchase at the Santy Auditorium.

    At Premiere PC, those patrons who have purchased the VIP Food & Beverage package will have access to hor d’oeuvres.

  • Both venues are located less than a 10 minute walk from dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops in downtown, historic Park City.

    For brunch before the matinee at the Santy Auditorium check out Harvest, Atticus Coffee, Le Depot, and The Bridge Cafe and Grille.

    For dinner before the evening performances at Premiere PC, check out Handle, Cafe Terigo, Le Depot, High West Saloon, Top of Main Brew Pub and many more!

    To escape crowds on Main Street, we recommend checking out Silver Star Cafe, Windy Ridge Cafe, FiveSeeds, and Boneyard Saloon.

  • Yes, free public buses service both the Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library and Old Town Transit Center near Main Street and Premiere PC.

  • English supertitles will be projected in real-time. Don’t worry, you won’t miss any of the humor!

  • Our production lasts roughly 2 hours and 15 minutes with a 20 minute intermission.
