American Opera at Promontory's Shed Amphitheater
Join Park City Opera for a special outdoor performance at Promontory Club’s terraced amphitheater, The Shed. This concert features our full chamber orchestra, offering a rare opportunity to hear the orchestra outside of our Mainstage productions, alongside a program of American opera.
Opera on the Patio: Summer Starts Here
Summer starts here! Join Park City Opera’s Artist Collective for an evening of music inspired by birdsong, nature and warmth, performed live as the sun sets. Back for its third season, Opera on the Patio is a free outdoor performance at the Park City Library.
American Music in Provo: Presented by The A-Frame Concert Series
Part family home, part concert venue, The A-Frame in Provo, Utah becomes the backdrop for an intimate evening of American art song and opera.
Opera on the Patio: Debussy & The Schumanns
On July 8, Opera on the Patio pairs the intimate, emotionally direct songs of Robert Schumann and Clara Schumann with the luminous, color-rich world of Claude Debussy.

To kick off Park City Opera’s “Opera Around the World” series, your passport gets its first stamp right here at home. Featuring singers visiting from around the country to perform in PCO’s The Tender Land, this series opener celebrates the breadth and diversity of American music — and keeps the July 4th celebrations going an extra week!

Join us at the City Park Bandstand: Centuries of passion are distilled into one summer evening. From the golden age of bel canto to the drama of Puccini, this is opera at its most classic and irresistible.

A rare, stunning program you won’t find anywhere else, featuring two Peruvian singers who bring classical vocal settings of Latin American folksongs to life. This program reminds us how wide the world of opera truly is!

Back for its third season, Opera on the Patio is a free outdoor performance at the Park City Library. Bring a picnic, your family, and even your dog for an evening of beloved opera set against the backdrop of a summer sunset. Enjoy great music in a relaxed, welcoming setting — no tickets required.
Songs of the Sea: Opera Dinner at Park Meadows
Set sail for an evening where opera meets the ocean. Enjoy live performances from The Pearl Fishers, The Pirates of Penzance, and more, paired with a thoughtfully crafted dinner and fine wine under the Park Meadows tent.

From the windswept moors to the wit of the cobblestoned streets of London, British music has given us some of the most witty, soulful, and enduring art songs ever written. Meet singers from Park City Opera’s upcoming Roméo et Juliette as they perform music from Shakespeare’s homeland.

In Charles Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers come to life amid the pageantry and passion of Verona, reimagined through the grand orchestral and theatrical language of French Romantic opera. With Gounod’s lush score at its heart, Roméo et Juliette unfolds as a celebration of the warmth, passion, and exuberance of young love.

Discover the Austrian waltz, Italian poetry and French charm through opera and a delicious après ski meal. Featuring selections from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, Puccini’s La Rondine, and Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved The Sound of Music, enjoy firsthand the rich traditions and melodies that make the hills come alive. The music will be accompanied by a coursed meal created by the culinary team at Promontory.

Art on the Trails
Join Park City Opera for immersive performances along McLeod Creek Trail all afternoon. Art on the Trails, presented by the Park City Arts Council, celebrates local and regional performing and visual artists. Tours leave every 20 min. from Copper Moose Farm, starting from 2pm to 4pm.
Lecture: History of Opera in Utah at the Park City Museum
While we often think of opera as a tradition rooted in Europe, opera has a long and rich history in Utah. Its presence in the Mountain West stretches back over 150 years, from early pioneer performances to grand touring productions that brought world-renowned artists to the region. Utah’s opera legacy includes forgotten opera houses, groundbreaking broadcasts, and internationally celebrated singers who once called the state home. Join us to learn more about the fascinating history of opera in Utah and explore how this vibrant art form continues to evolve in the state.

Presented by Alta Community Enrichment, Voices on the Mountain is an evening of classical music and musical theater at the beautiful Our Lady of the Snows Center overlooking the mountains in Alta.

Spanish Opera Soirée: Be transported to Spain with exquisite food, fine wine, and soul-stirring opera. Vocalists from Park City Opera will perform Spanish songs and highlights from Carmen, bringing romance and drama to the Park Meadows tent! Summer Songs in the Greenhouse
Join Park City Opera for Summer Songs at the Park City Greenhouse, a performance set in one of Park City’s most unique and intimate venues. This seasonal program features art songs and arias that reflect the brightness and ease of summer. Arts Entrepreneurship at Park City High School and Treasure Mountain Junior High
Park City Opera will present an interactive lecture/recital to students from Treasure Mountain Junior High and Park City High School about opera and arts entrepreneurship. The team will cover an introduction to opera terminology and art song styles and perform excepts from the discussed pieces.
A Musical Journey through Meyer Gallery

Arts Entrepreneurship and Opera at Waterford School
Park City Opera presented an interactive lecture and performance to high school orchestra, choir, and band students at the Waterford School in Sandy, Utah. Topics included Arts Entrepreneurship, finding and defining your artistry, and an introduction to opera terminology and history, art song styles, and diction.
